Explore Corsica will land at L’Ile-Rousse, nestled in the heart of the Balagne region in one of the most beautiful bays of Corsica. Its porphyry islands take some red colors under the effect of the sun and the elements.

You can enjoy its white sand beaches, admire the panoramas offered by the peninsula of Pietra, or explore by foot or by bike the small mountain villages that surround it and that will plunge you into the authentic Corsica: Corbara (one of the oldest villages of Corsica), Pigna (famous for Corsican craft), or Monticello and its scents of olive tree.

Explore Corsica will then make you discover Porto-Vecchio, an old town hosting an impressive 16th century citadel, enlivened by thousands of bars and ice-cream maker. Stroll through its narrow streets, explore its shops open til late at night, and relax with friends over a drink at Place de la République.

You will have the possibility to discover the most astonished scenery of Corsica: azure blue beach of Palombaggia and the lagoon of Santa Guilia.

Less than 30 minutes from Porto-Vecchio, try to climb the legendary Col de l'Ospedale and its peaceful scenery, which had welcome the Critérium International several times.

The third stage of Explore Corsica will take you til Propriano, famous for its countless beaches in rows. You can laze along the breathtaking Campomoro beach with its small fishing port and Genoese tower from 1586.

Walk around the markets of Propriano in Sartène which expresses itself around the local products, taste the wines of the producers, discover the chestnut flour which has a place of choice in the gastronomy of Corsica.

Propriano is also a way to try new water sports, take a ride in windsurfing, catamaran, kayak, paddle...

Explore Corsica will end is tour of Corsica in Ajaccio, labeled “city of art and history” thanks to its historic center, a strong old heritage and its many monuments.
From the top of the ramparts of its citadel, Ajaccio has kept intact the purity of its shore which is said to be one of the most beautiful in the world. Through the alleys of its old town, you will discover its Napoleonic route, its museums and its daily market with many flavors.

A few kilometers away, you can also discover the Sanguinaires Islands, its voluptuous beaches and preserved coves with a purple color are among the most beautiful sites in the city of Ajaccio and Corsica.
